This bundle of lessons is designed to support AQA GCSE Religious Studies, focusing on key content from the Religion, Peace and Conflict unit. Students explore religious and ethical responses to war, with particular attention to Weapons of Mass Destruction, Holy War, and the treatment of victims of war in Christianity and Islam.

Across the lessons, students examine Just War theory, lesser jihad, pacifism, deterrence, disarmament, and reconciliation, using religious teachings, sources of authority, and real-world case studies. The bundle develops key GCSE skills including explanation, comparison, evaluation, and use of religious quotes.

Resources include accessible reading tasks, structured comprehension questions, reflective writing, and exam-style questions, making them suitable for mixed-ability classes. The accompanying booklet supports knowledge retention and exam preparation throughout the unit.

Ideal for teachers delivering AQA GCSE RS.
