L04 – Pacifism

This lesson explores the meaning of pacifism and how different Christian and Muslim groups respond to the idea of refusing to take part in war. Students learn about absolute and conditional pacifism, religious teachings linked to peace and examples of modern organisations that promote non violence. Activities include scenario questions, discussion prompts and a short written task that prepares students for exam style answers.
