A free AI literacy assembly for secondary schools. Students learn why confident does not mean accurate, and what to do about it. KS3/KS4/KS5.

Handle With Care: It’s Not Always Right is the first assembly in the Handle With Care trilogy, a three-part series designed to help students think critically about artificial intelligence without dismissing it. This assembly is free permanently and acts as a complete standalone.

This assembly tackles a simple but important idea: AI gets things wrong, and it has no idea when. Students explore what hallucination means in the context of AI, see real examples of confident errors, and are asked to think about what that means for the way they use these tools every day. The assembly uses a commitment-before-reveal mechanic throughout, keeping students actively engaged rather than passively watching. It runs in 15 to 20 minutes and requires no specialist knowledge to deliver.
