A supportive Year 7 PSHE lesson to help students settle into secondary school.
This second lesson in the Sense of Belonging unit helps pupils reflect on their first 1–2 weeks, share worries, and feel more comfortable in their new environment. The lesson uses a low‑cognitive‑load style so students can focus without feeling overwhelmed.
Activities include advice from older students and a “Letter to Myself” task that encourages honest reflection and positive goals. The lesson ends by helping pupils take responsibility for their organisation and routines at school.
Available as part of the full Year 7 PSHE scheme, or as an individual lesson.
