Year 7 Spanish Projects: Mi vida (My Life)

A creative speaking and writing project that runs over two lessons and draws entirely on the Year 7 sentence builders. Students pick from 16 project options across four formats: solo, pairs, threes and groups of four. Every task asks them to combine vocabulary from across the topics they have learned, from introducing themselves to describing family and talking about free time. Outputs range from identity passports and video monologues to comparison posters, chat shows and class yearbooks, so there is something for every learner. The final slide lists each topic with its key sentence stem and adds teacher tips on differentiation, gender agreements and the near future tense. Grammar focus: present tense, with the near future as a stretch.
