A complete half term of Year 10 homework without the weekly planning burden. This GCSE Foundation Support booklet provides 14 structured homeworks for Half Term 6, combining accessible scaffolding with purposeful retrieval, misconception work and GCSE-style application.

The booklet develops probability, combined events and experimental probability before revisiting averages and range, charts, scatter graphs and correlation. Each homework is designed for approximately 25–30 minutes. It is a question booklet with no writing space, so pupils should answer in an exercise book, on paper or digitally.

The Support edition reduces cognitive load through concise key-fact toolkits, worked examples, LOOK HERE prompts, step-by-step PLAN guidance, targeted WAY IN prompts, sentence starters and vocabulary support. Retrieval tags make spaced practice visible, while interleaving brings previously taught content back at planned intervals.

Each homework follows a consistent six-part structure:
IGNITE — retrieval and spaced practice
BUILD — current methods and deliberate variation
DETECT — commonly examiner-identified misconceptions
PERFORM — GCSE-style application
STRETCH — reasoning and connected thinking
REFLECT — brief metacognition

The resource is informed by recurring issues identified in GCSE examiner reports and assessment guidance. Complete answers include methods, AO labels, marking guidance and examiner-style warnings, making the booklet suitable for independent homework, departmental setting and self-marking. A cumulative Mastery Checkpoint closes the half term.
