WJEC Entry 2 Entry Pathways Planning and Qualification Mapping Guide designed to support teachers and centres using the 17-workbook Entry 2 Mega Bundle.

This 13-page teacher planning guide maps all 17 workbooks, worth a combined 38 unit credits, against the WJEC qualification pathways they can contribute towards. It helps staff quickly identify suitable Award and Certificate routes for individual learners and plan delivery across a class or whole provision.

The guide includes:

  • Full list of all 17 Entry 2 workbooks with unit codes and credit values
  • Unit-to-qualification mapping matrix
  • Award, Certificate and Diploma credit requirements
  • Entry 2 Award and Certificate cash-in codes
  • Highest qualification size currently supported by the Mega Bundle
  • Suggested Award and Certificate unit combinations
  • Personal and Social Development planning route
  • Independent Living planning route
  • Preparing for Work planning route
  • Science Today planning route
  • Healthy Living and Fitness planning route
  • Humanities and crossover guidance
  • Individual Learner Route Planner
  • Cohort Delivery and Assessment Tracker
  • Final cash-in and moderation checklist
  • Reminder of WJEC paperwork required, including Candidate Authentication Sheets, Assessment Record Sheets and Witness Statements where appropriate

Using the workbooks contained in the Entry 2 Mega Bundle, the guide shows routes supporting:

  • Personal and Social Development Certificate
  • Independent Living Certificate
  • Preparing for Work Certificate
  • Science Today Certificate
  • Healthy Living and Fitness Certificate
  • Humanities Award

The learner planning sheet allows staff to record the target qualification, qualification code, selected units, planned term, workbook completion, assessment criteria completion, assessor initials and total credits achieved.

The cohort tracker can be used to organise delivery across different learners or groups and monitor which units have been delivered and are ready for moderation.

Ideal for SEND and specialist schools, SEMH settings, Alternative Provision, PRUs, FE/post-16 provision and centres delivering WJEC Entry Pathways.

This is an independent planning resource and is not produced, endorsed or approved by WJEC. Centres should always check the latest WJEC specification and administrative guidance before registration, delivery and qualification cash-in.

A comprehensive WJEC Entry 2 Entry Pathways MEGA Bundle containing 17 complete learner workbooks worth a combined 38 unit credits. Designed for centres delivering Entry Pathways across different curriculum areas, this bundle provides a substantial bank of ready-to-use Entry 2 resources covering Personal & Social Development, Independent Living, Preparing for Work, Science Today, Healthy Living & Fitness and Humanities. Rather than being tied to one qualification route, the workbooks can be selected and combined according to the needs, interests and intended qualification pathway of individual learners. **17 complete units included** 6100/E2 – Developing Self – 2 credits 6102/E2 – Environmental Awareness – 2 credits 6103/E2 – Healthy Living – 2 credits 6104/E2 – Individual Rights and Responsibilities – 1 credit 6110/E2 – Working as Part of a Group – 2 credits 6111/E2 – Working Towards Goals – 2 credits 6112/E2 – Community Action – 2 credits 6115/E2 – The Family – 2 credits 6123/E2 – Choices and Decisions – 1 credit 6124/E2 – Myself Within the Community – 2 credits 6125/E2 – Planning a Journey – 1 credit 6164/E2 – Food & Health – 4 credits 6172/E2 – Health, Safety & Hygiene – 3 credits 6202/E2 – Introduction to Animal Care – 3 credits 6203/E2 – Science: Health & Safety – 3 credits 6210/E2 – Working with Electrical Circuits – 3 credits 6234/E2 – Climate Change: Causes, Effects and Human Responses – 3 credits Total: 17 complete workbooks | 38 unit credits Qualification routes supported Using the eligible units contained within this bundle, centres have enough resources to build towards the following highest qualification sizes: **Personal & Social Development – Certificate** 13 eligible credits available Enough to build a complete Entry 2 PSD Certificate. **Independent Living – Certificate** 25 eligible credits available More than enough for the 13-credit Certificate, with additional eligible units available for centres wanting greater choice. WJEC requires 37 credits for a Diploma, so the bundle does not by itself provide a complete Independent Living Diploma. **Preparing for Work – Certificate** 18 eligible credits available Enough to build a complete Entry 2 Preparing for Work Certificate with a choice of eligible units. **Science Today – Certificate** 21 eligible credits available Enough to build a complete Entry 2 Science Today Certificate, with substantially more than the 13 credits required. **Healthy Living & Fitness – Certificate** 14 eligible credits available Enough to build a complete Entry 2 Healthy Living & Fitness Certificate. **Humanities – Award** 12 eligible credits available Enough to build an Entry 2 Humanities Award. A Humanities Certificate requires at least 13 credits, so this resource library is currently one credit short of Certificate size using its eligible Humanities units. WJEC Entry Pathways requires at least 8 credits for an Award and 13 credits for a Certificate; individual units must also be permitted within the chosen qualification pathway. **This means the Mega Bundle can support:** ✓ Entry 2 Personal & Social Development Certificate ✓ Entry 2 Independent Living Certificate ✓ Entry 2 Preparing for Work Certificate ✓ Entry 2 Science Today Certificate ✓ Entry 2 Healthy Living & Fitness Certificate ✓ Entry 2 Humanities Award This makes the bundle particularly useful for specialist settings where different learners may follow different Entry Pathways programmes, allowing staff to select appropriate units from one large resource library rather than purchasing separate resources for each pathway. Across the bundle learners will: * develop independence and self-awareness * explore health, wellbeing and nutrition * develop teamwork and communication skills * set and review personal goals * understand rights and responsibilities * explore their local community * take part in community action * develop travel and journey-planning skills * investigate environmental issues * explore animal care and welfare * develop knowledge of health, safety and hygiene * investigate electrical circuits * explore climate change and renewable energy * complete practical and evidence-building activities * produce structured evidence against WJEC assessment criteria The bundle includes: * 17 complete Entry 2 workbooks * 38 combined unit credits * resources supporting six WJEC qualification routes * enough eligible units for five different Certificate routes * enough eligible units for a Humanities Award * clearly labelled assessment criteria * WJEC assessment records * accessible Entry 2 language * SEND-friendly layouts * photorealistic photographs and visual supports * practical and investigative tasks * structured learner response spaces * end-of-section and final assessment checks * Ideal for: SEND, SEMH, Alternative Provision, PRUs, specialist schools, FE/post-16 settings and centres delivering multiple WJEC Entry Pathways programmes. Please note: the 38 credits shown are the combined credit values of all individual units included in the bundle. They do not represent a single 38-credit qualification. Units must be selected according to WJEC's rules of combination and the units permitted within each qualification pathway. This is an independently produced teaching resource designed to support delivery of the WJEC Entry Pathways specification. It is not produced, endorsed or approved by WJEC.
