They then consider the effects of climate change on people, the environment, farming, health, tourism and the UK before exploring renewable energy and actions that individuals and governments can take.

Activities include sorting and matching tasks, photograph interpretation, short-answer questions, cause-and-effect activities, scenarios, positive and negative impact tasks, renewable-energy identification and decision-making activities.

Learners also complete practical evidence-building activities including an energy audit, identifying ways energy is being wasted and considering changes that could reduce energy use.
