A free, five-minute Whole School Wellbeing Check-In for school leaders and staff teams.

Supporting wellbeing across a school is rarely about having everything perfectly in place. This reflection tool offers a simple way to pause, recognise what is already working and consider where a little more confidence or consistency might be helpful.

The check-in explores 12 statements across three connected areas:

• Support for pupils
• Confidence and support for staff
• How wellbeing is understood and embedded across the whole school

For each statement, you can select:

• This feels like us
• We’re getting there
• This could be our next focus

There is no score and no judgement. This is a reflective conversation starter rather than a formal audit, and it isn’t designed to tell schools what they “should” be doing.

It can be completed individually, explored with colleagues, used in a staff or leadership meeting, or included as part of a wider conversation about whole-school wellbeing. Schools are welcome to take what feels useful and leave anything that doesn’t fit their setting at the moment.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

• One printable, single-page A4 landscape PDF for completing with pen and paper
• One interactive, single-page A4 PDF that can be completed on screen using Adobe Acrobat Reader
• Simple follow-up guidance to help staff reflect on the responses that came up most often

IDEAL FOR

• School leaders and senior leadership teams
• Senior mental health leads
• PSHE and RSHE leads
• Pastoral and safeguarding teams
• Staff teams exploring a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing

Designed with secondary schools in mind, this resource may help to open up thoughtful conversations about how pupils and staff feel noticed, listened to and supported.

A whole-school approach grows through everyday moments where young people feel noticed, listened to and supported.
