Updated for the week beginning Monday 13th July 2026 - the final edition of the academic year. Fresh editions return every Monday from September, with all previous weeks built in.

A ready-to-go weekly news quiz covering the week’s biggest business and economics stories. A brand-new edition is added every Monday, and past weeks stay built in - so the single file becomes a growing archive of current-affairs quizzes you can use all year.

Just open the HTML file in any browser (no install, works on the board or on tablets) and select your quiz: Business or Economics, at GCSE or A-Level. The questions, difficulty and answer key all change to match, so the same file works across your whole department.

Each edition is built entirely from that week’s real headlines - company news and takeovers, the stock market, interest rates and inflation, jobs, oil and the wider global economy - every question with its source, and a strong UK focus throughout. An on-screen Edition menu lets you switch between the latest quiz and earlier weeks, with archived weeks clearly marked so there’s never any doubt which is current.
