Ukraine English lesson that uses Simon Armitage’s recently published Resistance poem to explore attitudes and opinions on the Russian invasion and how the Ukrainian people have been affected by it, but also how they have shown remarkable courage, bravery and determination despite the horrors of war. Useful for unseen poetry lessons for both KS3 and KS4 groups and in preparation for GCSE English Literature exams.
