This little revision, home learning or class worksheet comes with answers and helps GCSE students to understand The Nervous System in B5 GCSE Biology 🧬🌱.

It tests students on how electrical impulses travel through nerves/neurones from a receptor that detects a stimulus to an effector that creates a response. The difference between central and peripheral nervous system, spinal cord, brain and neurones are covered. The adaptation of neurone cells such as mitochondria, myelin fatty sheath, dendrites and node of Ranvier are tested.
