Six PE lessons for Upper KS2 students (year 5 and 6), using the theme of mini tennis.
The lessons come in a clear format with aims and success critieria for each lesson.
Each lesson also includes key learning abilities/cross curricular skills, that children should develop.
The unit explores fundamental movements skills (Agility, Balance and Coordination) and several different tennis skills, such as forehand and backhand shots, volleying and rallying.
All the lessons include clear diagrams of activities and games.
By the end of the 6 lessons, children should be able to understand the rules of mini tennis and play a game against their peers.
