A fully-formatted Excel tracker for logging and managing suspensions — fixed term, internal and lunchtime exclusions. One row per suspension, five colour-coded column groups and a live summary dashboard. Fully customisable to work with any school’s MIS, behaviour policy and terminology.

32 columns across five groups:
Student — name, year group, form, SEN, Pupil Premium, social worker involvement, EAL and prior suspension count.
Incident — date, reason (from your code of conduct), incident overview, and whether a reasonable adjustment was considered — a statutory requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
Decision — suspension approved or not proceeded with, type, number of days, start and end dates, authorising person and DfE / local authority code.
Compliance — parents notified, written notice sent, statutory return submitted, logged on MIS and work set for the period of suspension. Any compliance field left blank stays yellow until completed.
Reintegration — meeting held, date, current status and notes.

Summary Dashboard — auto-updating totals including FTEs vs internal exclusions, pending decisions, compliance gaps, students with SEN/PP/social worker involvement, suspensions over five days and reintegration meetings outstanding. Breakdowns by year group and by reason.
