This resource teaches young children what good listening actually looks like: ears listening, eyes looking, quiet voices and still bodies. It is a ready-to-teach PowerPoint scaffold for an hour-long lesson on listening and attention skills. Children play a Sound Safari guessing game, practise following one-, two- and three-step instructions, and retell a short story with a partner in the Story Echo activity. Everything is written directly to the child in warm, simple language with actions to join in with.
