This is a 6 lesson scheme of work that I have used for many years with Year 8, but could be a Year 7 SOW. It focuses on a range of different Drama skills and explores how stories have changed over the years from a range of genres. It comes with a range of resources I have also used to help differentiate and on download, it is ready to teach.

  1. Greek Theatre and Chorus
  2. Fairy Tales and Little Red Riding Hood
  3. Anthropomorphism and Anansi
  4. Rumplestiltskin and Hot Seating
  5. Romeo and Juliet (The Prologue)
  6. Assessment - Adapt a story for modern day
