Celebrate St Patrick’s Day in March by making a themed crown or hat. This St Paddy’s craft will have pupils colour a template (2 options), cut it out, and then assemble with your preferred fastener.

The designs
Template 1: Rainbow and coins design.
Template 2: Lucky clover and horseshoe design.

There are several options for the band (including a plain band).

What you need

  • Crowns printed landscape on card.
  • Bands printed landscape on card (for larger heads, you may wish tojoin 2 bands together, or cut your own, longer bands from plain cardstock/paper).
  • Coloured pencils/pens.
  • Scissors.
  • Tape/glue (or your preferred fastener) to attach the crowns to the bands.
