A teaching resource to review the differences in the use of preterit and imperfect tense in Spanish, aimed at GCSE / A-Level.

This resource could be used for teaching from the start or revision. It includes an explanation page, a recap of the formation of both tenses and a set of worksheets to practise.

Activities:

  1. Explain why the tense in the sentence has been used.
  2. Fill in the gap with the conjugated verb in the requested tense.
  3. Translate Spanish to English / English to Spanish.
  4. Correct the errors in the use of the two tenses.
