The most common misconception - confusing fusion (the Sun; not yet commercial) with fission (power stations; commercial now) - is addressed directly.

Student Exam Practice Sheet includes a two-mark electrostatic repulsion explanation; a three-mark fusion description and stellar energy source question; and a two-mark question on why fusion is not currently used for electricity generation. Question format matches the Edexcel Higher test style.
