Let’s face it, the classroom is like a house for 30+ people - that is a lot of house work even before all the magic can happen. Yes you have a cleaner but they won’t nor should be expected to tidy up. So who will? Well if you do not successfully get your class students to buy into staying on top of this together, I am afraid it will be you!

Noone wants to be a nag so how will you get everyone one involved? Try these 4 simple prompts and share them often with your students. You will be amazed at what 2 minutes of participation between 30 people can achieve - that’s an hour of your time saved if you can manage this!

Share these slides often, or better still print out into posters. If you can get students recalling these 4 habits outloud they’ll learn to be more responsible and you’ll even get some nods of acknowledgement from grateful parents too!
