A simple phonics writing activity to practise segmenting & spelling words.
Sets include; first 8 letter jars, CVC word jars, Special Friend jars, CCVC/ CVVC jars & Set 2 jars. Total 20 jars.

All available separately as well.

How to use:
Place the jar cards on a table or in a provision area.
Give children a whiteboard and pen (or paper & pencil).
Children choose a jar & look carefully at the pictures inside.
Say the word aloud, identify the sounds & write the word.
Encourage children to use sound mats & Fred Fingers to support their spelling.
Check and discuss spellings together.
