This ready-to-use Russian language lesson is based on the short film “Classmate” (Одноклассница).

The resource includes:
• pre-viewing discussion questions;
• prediction activities;
• listening and viewing comprehension tasks;
• true/false/not mentioned exercises;
• picture description activities;
• critical thinking and speaking tasks;
• discussion prompts about appearance, stereotypes and first impressions.

Students develop listening, speaking and intercultural communication skills while discussing an engaging short film.

Suitable for secondary school students and Russian as a foreign language learners (approximately A2–B1 level).

The lesson can be used as a complete 45–60 minute class, a conversation lesson, or as supplementary material for developing speaking and discussion skills in Russian.
