In this activity, students will examine the life and career of Napoleon Bonaparte, tracing how he rose from humble origins in Corsica to become Emperor of the French through a combination of military brilliance and political manoeuvring. They will also explore the major events that brought about his downfall, from the catastrophic Russian campaign of 1812 through to his final defeat at Waterloo in 1815 and his subsequent exile on Saint Helena.

It has 9 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
