AQA A-Level Physics | Particles and Radiation | Independent Study, Homework or Revision Booklet with Mark Schemes | 200+ Marks

A complete independent study programme for AQA A-Level Physics 3.2 Particles and Radiation, covering 3.2.1.1 to 3.2.2.4. Seven structured sessions with over 200 marks to ensure your Year 12 students make the most of their sixth form study periods.

Each session is a workout designed for one study period plus marking, mapping to a few lessons of teaching. Issue fortnightly alongside the topic and set as directed homework/learning or distribute to students as a revision resource.

Every session opens with a research-backed warm-up (brain dump, retrieval grid, diagram labelling, equation recall), along with a “Why this works” justification to encourage students to use these techniques (metacognition). This is followed by 25–32 marks of questions rising from definitions and recall to full explanation. Questions interleave earlier content deliberately, and a final Topic Checkpoint draws on the whole topic, perfect to use before the end-of-topic test.

Mark schemes are written in the style of AQA A-Level Physics mark schemes with guidance notes so students can mark and correct their own work and see exactly why marks were dropped.
