This resource has been designed for students working towards English Functional Skills Entry Level 3 accreditation (AQA, OCR. Pearson Edexcel, City and Guilds, NCFE). It contains an age-appropriate, fully editable, 230-slide PowerPoint lesson on spelling.

The PowerPoint contains the words that students are expected to both read and spell correctly at Entry Level 3. The spellings have been compiled from the Entry Level 3 word list specified by the DfE in the Functional Skills English specification.

The PowerPoint includes tips and advice on learning to spell words and provides many opportunities for pupils to practise and improve their spelling. It is ideal for introducing the pupils to the spelling component of the specification and for revision purposes.
