This resource explores the representation of the human face throughout art history. It mainly focuses on the work of Picasso and the ‘Weeping Woman’ work which explores the expression of emotion.

This lesson can be created on acetates or tracing paper and coloured tissue paper to create a layered Pop Art effect. It could also be created in pencil crayon.

Suitable for KS3 age pupils.
