Powerpoint GAME to develop confidence using ‘daily routine’ expressions in French in a fun way !

There are 40 expressions (in the present tense).

Spin the wheel to select a question.

(Wheel stops spinning at a certain number; teacher then takes pupils to that slide. Instructions included in Powerpoint as to how to do this smoothly.)

Pupils then read aloud and/or translate the sentence into English.

There is also an inserted clickable AUDIO CLIP, which can be used to support pupils who are not confident about their pronunciation (Teacher can use it to model the pronunciation for pupils). The clip are inserted .m4a files.

For use in class.

Suitable for second-year French learners upwards.

Suggestions for use :

teacher controls Powerpoint on smartboard;
pupils are organised into teams and compete against each other;

pupils work in pairs and test each other. If working with Chromebooks, pupil A could be controlling the Powerpoint and reading aloud expressions to Pupil B who either has to listen and repeat or listen and translate. Please check any devices that you would like pupils to use this on support inserted .m4a audio files.

Amusez-vous bien !

All feedback appreciated - especially if you spot a typo which I always aim to fix quickly.
