Power and Conflict Poetry 2027 revision for English Literature Paper 2 revision lesson on comparing two anthology poems and exploring how their structures are similar and different and WHY.

We explore Storm on the Island and Exposure, around the theme of the power of nature, analysing how the use of structure and form conveys key messages and attitudes on the power of nature, working as a template for students to compare structures on other key themes and for other poems, in turn helping students to prepare for the exam in the 2027 summer.

The lesson includes differentiated and adaptive learning approaches, detailed theme notes and more.

A really useful way of revising poetry in time for the Paper 2 exam in May 2027.
