This 5 lesson art unit is perfect for children in KS2. I taught it to my Year 3 class in the Summer term.
The children are studying 2 artists: Paul Signac and Georges Seurat. Two pointillism artists.

The children will begin studying the artists, then practicing their techniques, with a brief look at Sarah Hart (contemporary artist) when studying the mood of colour and why it is used. Then they will create their own piece inspired by the artwork.
