A simple, visual matching activity where students draw lines to connect each planet’s name with the correct illustration.

Covers all eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The planet images are deliberately not in order, so students need to use their knowledge (or research skills) to match them correctly.

Great for:
Starter or plenary during a solar system topic
Quick assessment of planet recognition
Homework or home learning
Cover lessons, no teacher input needed
Early finishers

Printable, clear layout. Works well for KS1 (Year 2) and KS2.
