These sheets give an interesting focus for young, beginner writers. They can be used for all types of writing including narratives, descriptions, reports etc. There is a good mix of topics: the themes were suggested by children and their teachers. Each sheet comes in three formats: no lines, wide lines and narrower lines. The Yellow Book has 33 topics, including The Giant and Basketball.
