A lesson introducing some simple contextual factors linking with John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men. The lesson looks at 5 key pieces of context ranging from The Great Depression to The Dust Bowl. The lesson is straightforward and easy to use. It is aimed at lower ability KS3/KS4 and could be used to develop students’ AO3 skills. All resources are attached.
