Help your students reflect on 2025 and set their goals for the New Year by making these ‘in my 2026 era’ disco balls. Students will colour the disco ball, write on the template, cut, glue, and fold to create this hands-on writing craft.

Activity benefits

  • Hands-on
  • Encourages self-expression
  • Perfect for interactive notebooks
  • A fun alternative to a worksheet
  • Low-prep - just print and go
  • Multiple template options (see below for more details)

The templates

  • Template 1: 4 boxes with prompts and writing lines.
  • Template 2: As above, but without lines (this can allow for students to add small drawings).
  • Template 3: 6 boxes with prompts and writing lines.
  • Template 4: As above, but without writing lines.
