This editable MYP Grade 10 Physics bundle brings together a set of 21 in-class Criterion B: Inquiring and Designing assessment tasks for the main Grade 10 Physics units.

The individual unit packs are already 25% off.
Save an additional 10% with this bundle.

The bundle is designed to help students practise and demonstrate the key skills required for Criterion B, including writing focused research questions, formulating hypotheses, identifying variables, planning data collection, constructing results tables, designing valid methods, and considering reliability, validity, safety, and limitations.

What is included:
• 21 editable Criterion B student tasks
• 21 teacher mark schemes
• In-class assessment format
• Research question practice
• Hypothesis writing practice
• Variables tables
• Results table construction
• Method design questions
• Validity and reliability prompts
• Safety and limitation considerations where relevant
• Secondary data analysis where relevant
• Graphing and data interpretation prompts
• Mark scheme guidance for each Criterion B strand

The bundle covers the following Grade 10 Physics units:
Unit 1: Forces and Motion
• Newton’s Second Law: effect of net force on acceleration
• Friction: effect of surface type on friction force
• Free fall: effect of drop height on time of fall
Unit 2: Energy
• Hooke’s Law: effect of spring extension on elastic force
• Energy conversion: effect of ramp height on horizontal launch distance
• Power: effect of load mass on time taken for a motor to lift a load
Unit 3: Waves
• Wave properties: effect of frequency on wavelength in a ripple tank
• Sound: effect of distance on sound intensity level
• Refraction: effect of angle of incidence on angle of refraction
Unit 4: Electricity
• Ohm’s Law: effect of voltage on current through a resistor
• Resistance: effect of wire length on electrical resistance
• Thermistors: effect of temperature on the resistance of an NTC thermistor
Unit 5: Magnetism and Electromagnetism
• Magnetic fields: effect of distance from a bar magnet on compass deflection
• Electromagnets: effect of number of coil turns on lifting force
• Electromagnetic induction: effect of magnet drop height on induced voltage
Unit 6: Matter and Thermal Physics
• Specific heat capacity: effect of mass of water on temperature change
• Charles’s Law: effect of temperature on the volume of a trapped gas
• Newton’s Law of Cooling: effect of initial temperature on rate of cooling
Unit 7: Space Physics
• Parallax: effect of baseline distance on parallax angle
• Kepler’s Third Law: relationship between orbital radius and orbital period
• Stellar brightness: effect of distance on observed light intensity

Each task is fully editable, allowing teachers to adjust the wording, level of support, investigation context, practical details, data values, graphing expectations, or mark scheme requirements to match their own teaching sequence and the specific content delivered in class.

The teacher mark schemes provide model answers, accepted alternatives, scientific explanations, calculation guidance, graphing guidance, validity notes, and advice on what stronger responses should include. This supports consistent marking and helps teachers see how students can access each Criterion B strand.

This bundle is suitable for MYP Grade 10 Physics, in-class Criterion B assessments, end-of-unit inquiry tasks, assessment preparation, classroom assessment, or revision of investigation design skills across the Physics course.
