Most pages focus on three letters of the alphabet at a time. For example, the A, B and C page features the words ant, ball and cake, while later pages continue through the alphabet until the final page, which introduces yacht and zebra for Y and Z.
Each page contains large uppercase and lowercase letters to trace, simple first words linked to each letter, matching illustrations, word-tracing activities and handwriting practice lines.
The colourful pages can be laminated and bound together to create a reusable alphabet book for a reading corner, writing corner or literacy area. Children can use dry-wipe markers to trace letters and words repeatedly.
The black-and-white pages provide opportunities for colouring, handwriting practice and independent literacy activities.
