An alphabet animal resource for young learners.
This pack includes colour pages and matching black-and-white pages. The colour pages can be used for reading activities, speaking and listening sessions, small-group work, classroom displays, or laminated and placed in a writing corner for children to use with dry-wipe markers. The black-and-white pages can be coloured and assembled into individual alphabet books for children to keep and share.
The alphabet is presented in groups of three letters to support learning and recall:
ABC, DEF, GHI, JKL, MNO, PQR, STU, VWX, and finally YZ.

Children become familiar with the order and names of the letters of the alphabet.

Children identify initial sounds and match letters to animals.
Reading
Children read and recognise simple words linked to each featured animal.
Writing
Children practise letter formation and write animal words.
Handwriting Practice

The black-and-white pages encourage children to personalise and create their own alphabet book. Children can make their own books or make a class book.
