How can I do these addition calculations on my calculator when the calculator has lost its addition sign? This is to get across the fact that 2 negatives make a positive.

This is a nice resource which requires students to rewrite some additions as subtracting a negative. You could use this as a plenary when you have been studying subtraction of negative numbers. You would need a proper discussion or there is the danger students will just go through the sheet and change each plus for two negative symbols since each question requires this same solution. A nice idea which I will definitely use but maybe in a different way. Thank you for sharing.
