Bring Shakespeare to life with this engaging, 84 page, Macbeth resource, designed to make the play accessible, enjoyable and easy to understand for all learners. This pack is designed to be used alongside the BBC Teach animated series and adapted play script, and is organised in the same way as the BBC adapted play script.

To support Spanish-speaking EAL learners, every worksheet and activity includes a Spanish translation alongside the original English, allowing pupils to develop their understanding of both the story and key vocabulary while building confidence in English. This makes the resource ideal for bilingual learners, newly arrived pupils and mixed-language classrooms.

The pack includes clear, vibrant, easy-read comic strips retelling the key events of Macbeth, alongside a wide range of no-prep activities to build knowledge, explore key themes, and develop vocabulary and comprehension.

What’s included:
Scheme of learning overview – showing how the comic strips and activities align with the BBC Teach animations and adapted playscript.
Easy-read comic strips – a simplified, visual retelling of Macbeth in student-friendly language, with one scene per page. (Scenes match the BBC adapted playscript.)
