Lord of the Flies Chapter Three lesson that explores William Golding’s novel as Jack is described as he hunts animals in the third chapter. We recap key language techniques in fiction writing and analyse a key extract for its use of language in Chapter 3 - Huts on the Beach.

Students analyse the use of language and create analytical paragraphs based on a modelled example that is broken down into clear success criteria. An excellent way to introduce the text to both KS3 and KS4 classes.
