A powerpoint that could be used for environmental and land based science or for use with the living eggs project at Secondary school, it starts simply with the lifecyle of a chick and then goes on to look a little at ethics, so the differences between battery and free range and whether it's ok to kill and eat chickens, it will need some tweaking to make suitable for different classes it is pitched at quite a high level

Many thanks for sharing. This provides a really good way into looking at lifecycles of animals, having started with insects (butterflies) & moved onto frogs. :-)
