A full lesson PowerPoint aimed at post-16 students focused on creating respectful, inclusive workplaces, exploring:

• The importance of diversity, including awareness of alternative subcultures; and
• The role of respect, empathy and inclusion in professional environments.

Through case studies, structured discussion tasks and reflection activities, students learn to recognise unconscious bias, challenge stereotypes and consider how their behaviour and attitudes shape workplace culture. Ideal for students preparing for employment, apprenticeships or higher education.

Who is the Sophie Lancaster Foundation?
Sophie Lancaster was killed for the way she looked. Her alternative subculture identity, the only motivation for the brutal, targeted attack. Sophie’s mother, Sylvia established the Foundation in Sophie’s name, to challenge prejudice and intolerance through education and change mindset to difference.
