Student booklet for a UK Geography Topic. Suitable for KS3.

The lessons are titled:

  1. What makes up the UK?
  2. How does our island location shape us?
  3. How does the UK’s physical landscape affect how land is used?
  4. How do rivers and climate shape life in the UK?
  5. Does geography decide where people live and work in the UK?
  6. Revision.

This unit covers UK physical geography, trade/ports, UK’s climate, population densities, north-south divide and migration.

Each lesson contains a lesson summary, key academic language, core knowledge questions, a variety of tasks from categorising, multiple choice, use of geographical skills, and a final independent written task per lesson.
