This unit introduces key Hindu beliefs and practices, including Brahman, the Trimurti, karma, dharma, and moksha, as well as important stories such as the Ramayana and the festival of Diwali.

Lessons are carefully sequenced to build understanding from core beliefs to lived religion, including opportunities for application through activities and discussion. The unit concludes with a structured assessment, allowing students to demonstrate knowledge and evaluative skills.

The assessment includes 1–12 mark questions, a help sheet for extended writing, and a supporting reading resource (‘Living a Good Hindu Life’) to aid understanding of key concepts.
