This scheme of work is aimed at year sevens in the autumn term but could be adapted to different year groups or terms. This scheme of work aims to improve creativity and basic foundations of dance.

On the PowerPoint there are 6 lessons (including an assessment lesson). Each lesson has a do now task, learning objective, discussion task and a practical task with targets (bronze, silver and gold). Each lesson has a plenary.

This sow introduces students to body actions, use of space, dynamics and some relationships. There is an assessment rubric at the end of the PowerPoint.

There are extra resources including a booklet for injured students, assessment checklist and feedback forms
