This pack contains a selection of resources teachers can use to help pupils develop their ability to explain impressions and make inferences about story settings.

It includes story extracts featuring descriptions of settings and follow-up activities. This a flexible resource which contains materials needed for teachers to organise 5 or more reading sessions. Teachers can pick and choose the resources they would like to use. The resources are suitable for use in 1:1, group or whole class reading sessions.
