This is a fun way to introduce a topic or person to the class. All the clues are there but can you find who the box belongs to? This could be an independent, group or whole class task. There are instructions for the teacher within the document, suggesting how to support the children to use the clues to research and find the identity of the box owner. It combines history, literacy and ICT skills. To support a range of learning styles, the document already includes large prints of each clue with a description of what they are. You could also recreate the box within the classroom with real objects to make the activity more tactile.
