A one or two lesson plan for English in Year 6, or 5. With differentiated success criteria. Using the painting of 'Orthodox Boys'as a prompt for writing. Pie Corbett's using Art as a prompt for writing. Also using Alan Peat's sentence types. The painting generates a lot of discussion and the children are engaged to write. Worth doing a planning lesson before the writing lesson - so more like 2 lessons here.
