This is a worksheet that is designed with key stage 1 and 2, and additional needs pupils in mind.

It gives prompts for the students to find things under different categories (e.g. colour and texture).

The idea is for students to write the names of the items that they find, draw a picture of the item, and glue a piece of it to the worksheet.

This is a good resource for outdoor learning and sensory exploration, and would be well suited for a display board if printed in A3.

The activity is designed to be printed and carried on a clipboard for work completed either indoors or outdoors.
