Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde - As we continue to see Robert Louis Stevenson’s The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, we discover the turning point of the novella: How Hyde murders respected gentleman Sir Danvers Carew. We look at how he is portrayed to the reader, how he contrasts with Hyde, and what Utterson will do next. Ideal preparation for KS4 students getting ready for AQA English Literature Paper 1, but adaptable for KS3 as well.
