Japanese IGCSE Kanji List Chart – Foundation

This Kanji Chart for the Japanese IGCSE Foundation course is a useful resource for both students and teachers. It can be provided to students as an individual reference sheet or enlarged and displayed as a classroom poster.

For convenience, the kanji are organised into categories, helping students learn and memorise them in meaningful groups. This approach supports long-term retention by making it easier to establish connections between related words and concepts.

As kanji acquisition requires regular practice and revision to maintain knowledge, this chart can be used in a variety of ways, including:

• Classroom displays
• Student notebook reference pages
• Quick quizzes and review activities
• Homework and revision tasks
• Preparation for IGCSE examinations
• Vocabulary consolidation and self-study

I hope this resource supports students in developing confidence and success in their Japanese language learning journey.
